Before leaving, we have made a clear decision on how to manage the operations during these days of challenging propagation. We know how precious every single opening is, and we want every contact to truly count.
For this reason, we have configured MSHV software with a strict limit: only 1 QSO per station.
Why this choice?
In FT8, it is easy to fall into the “duplicate” trap, often because operators are unsure if their contact was successfully logged. However, with the bands being so sluggish, every second spent with a station already in our log is a second stolen from someone else desperately trying to reach Roume Island (AF-051) for the first time.
- Our Goal: To give everyone a fair chance to work 3X3A, especially those operating with QRP (low power) or modest antenna setups.
- Real-time Logging: We will upload our logs as frequently as possible so you can verify your contact without needing to call us again.
I kindly ask all DX hunters for their cooperation: if you have received your “RR73”, you are in the log! Please leave space for others; our mission is to get 3X3A into as many unique logbooks as possible.
Thanks for your support and see you on the bands!
